You're the 3rd person to report ban remove does not work for him.
Have you tried it with paltalk version 8.5?
It could be that paltalk added some new bans with the few last versions.
It seem it haven't been changed for a year or so.

And your IP? Does it change every time you connect to the internet?
Personaly I find it hard to believe they ban an IP because mine change every time i log on, and I have like 6 pools to assign one from, and if they ban the range which is i think is class A they may ban half the country.
But it still worth a try to look into.

there are no chat programs that don't ban IP addresses... its basic, easy to do, hard to get past :). The thing is, its a combination of things that go along with a IP address ban. First of all, you change nicknames... the ban carries over to that nickname cause the old nick is still in your reg. You try to connect on a new nickname, Boom banned again and the new IP is logged. There are a number of things like this that makes up the effectivness of an IP ban. This is why ban removers even work, we are able to remove all the things that keeps the ban from being detected and then your back in the program. As for Anti-bans on the site not working as well anymore, well I haven't seen anyone willing to take the time to figure all the new bans out. I just follow a guide in my head and change everything and i get out of every ban like that.

The easy way maybe, not the smart way, and certainly not hard to get past if you do not have a static IP.
Could be that those who couldn't get out of their bans did something wrong if it's still works for you.

I was trying to see what paltalk is reading from registry, but so far haven't found a good free tool to do it, do you know of any?

I use Process Monitor v1.26 its very good and free you can download it at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx

also there is "windiff" its avalble in windows START>>RUN>>windiff to compare 2 files so I use it to compare reg files before and after Banned
But there is no IP Banned in paltalk

most people can't change their IP anyway... with the exception of dial up users, if you have cable or dsl for example you have to make your ISP change the IP. Which is where the hard to get out of comes in. Only way they will change it if you complain like hell to them, and even then its iffy.

The ability to change your IP depends on your ISP and the package you purchase from your ISP (and probably the country or area of the country you live in). I used to have a simple dsl from SBC Yahoo. Everytime I reset the dsl modem, I got a new IP address. Later I changed my package from SBC and was alloted 4 static IP addresses that I could assign locally or share. After that I moved to Comcast Cable with a basic package. The only way I found to change the IP was to let the 3 day lease expire on the modem (ie power off the modem for 3days). I've upgraded my package with comcast so I could have mutiple IP addresses. On this package they allocate IP addresses according to MAC address. So anytime I change my MAC address I get a new IP. Since I run behind routers, I change the MAC addresses at the routers.
