if i remember correctly, these were both for pal8... but as it is the source code, they can be edited to work for pal whatever... if you ask departure, he may have updated them already

hey loco ...
you mentioned that you were working on greeter for 9.2 to make it work for 9.4 using Autos update. could you please post it in here? i did a search for 9.4 greeter and couldn't find anything.

thanks

you're so right string, my question had absolutly nothing to do with programming. it was more related to astronomy and the position of stars. specially when it comes to updating the greeter code which is written in visual basic (which again has nothing to do with programming at all) to make it work for another version, it's definitly not about programming.
in your opinion, what's my question related to?

My apologies for misunderstanding. I thought you were asking for the greeter program itself.

I see now that what you were asking was for loco to write and post the source for you.
Why not do it yourself? The basis source for a greeter is at the top of this thread, and the code for making it work for any version is posted in this forum several times. Put the two together, you can create a greeter, and maybe learn something along the way.

Thats not a star, thats Uranus.
