Hey Guys...

Good news. I didn't use any programs from this site and still got out of a Room Ban. I wanted to try a few things before actually using the programs and after reading on the forums I began experimenting and the first thing I tried got me into a room I was banned from. OWners Ban.

Here's what I did:

I have Cable Internet and I have a static IP. But the IP is capable of changing if I disconnect the adapter for about 15-20 mins and reconnect it.

What I did was I disconnected my Adapter and turned my computer off. And read some homework while waiting. Now, instead of using my regular ethernet cable I connected my modem and connection to a USB adapter instead. After about 15 mins I turned my computer on and plugged the adapter into the modem with the USB cable.

Did a Network setup. And logged into Paltalk and I was in the rOOM!!!
LOL.

Here's the big thing though. And I must emphasis this because I think the above is evident, but this is a discussion I want to start up and I need yor help. I was banned before I formatted my Hard Drive. I've been banned for a month. Now I'm running a computer on a newly formatted Harddrive and when I tried entering the room BEFORE format I couldn't get in and when I tried entering the room AFTER format I couldn't get in. BUT after I changed the network adapter to USB and changed my IP from disconnecting the modem adapter I was able to get in. Let's discuss. All I know is that I'm in the Channel!!! The Room BAN is GONE. So whatever I did worked absolutely.

Thas some reall good info, at list we know now that it has to do with the network card and some regestry string probably.

What ban did you have bright away if you dont mind me asking

Hey locohacker, I'm not familiar with specific Ban names, but the ban was from a G-rated, password protected room.

"We're sorry, the owner of this room has specified that you may not enter" This is the message alert I would receive. If you know how I can get the specific name of the ban do tell and I'll look for it.

I'm back to using my Ethernet card mainly because USB is slower. Tomorrow I'm going to install a new network card and see if ethernet will work instead of USB. Being back on the older connection I was unable to get into the room meaning the ban is still in my computer. How does this shit work anyway? How does one card not work and the other card it does. I know there's some coding in my computer but where?

Well the way it works is that they record your network card serial key or mac address, and they also put some stuff in your regestry before we knew exactly what it was but now they have change it lol, all we need to now what is it they recordind or checking so people dont have to reformat and change the network card

yeap this is what i said in another topic just the other day about the the networkcard, its not the registry networkcard id but its the hardware id,

one question tho, did you take the network card out of your computer or just leave it in there and switched to usb???

this is what i want to really know to prove my point in the other topic.

Hey Departure, I have an integrated Network card if I decided to take it off I would kill the mobo, lol.

Can anyone ban you even you are not in the bans list ?

ok so when i try my usuel nick here is the message that appears !!!!



as i said before i had to to use ban remover and to restar my Computer everytime...i want to go this room.

and Now even i do it is not possible, to re-enter the room.

I descover anorther thing when i use another nickname in the my computer to enter the room, i got the message, "we are sorry the owner of the room has specified that you may not enter"

so i asked admin and the owner he tets me that i'm not in the ban list or bounce list and he don't know whats the probleme.

can the owner ban someone whithout him appearing in ban list....

plzzzz people just tell what's the matter about this block..

Hey Pain, I'm going to take a stab at it. First thing is that there are more than 1 admins in that room. You spoke to an admin, but not the owner of the room. There appears to be a guest list the owner has setup and anyone trying to enter will not be able to enter it until they ask the OWNER and not a secondary admin to add that person to the Guest list. The admin should have mentioned that there was a guest list if this was the case, but I'm not sure now. That's my take on it. Or that you were banned using an alternative name. Do you use more than one name and could they have banned a different name?
