Rocky
Thanks for the tip. I tried what you suggested but Paltalk gives a message to check my Internet connection. Here's what I did:
-Installed Socks Cap v2
-Under SocksCap settings tab I entered server address (74.131.20.3) and port (6459)
-For the protocol I left it as Socks Version 4 and I left the User ID (which was the same as my Win XP login name) ***IS THIS CORRECT***
-Then I created a New Application Profile for Paltalk.
-Then I clicked on Run.
But I get a connection failure message from Paltalk. Please advise me what I am doing wrong.
Many thanks.
NB: Please note that I use a proxy (in Saudi Arabia) to connect to the Internet and this is in my IE/Firefox internet settings. ***DO I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING HERE***
ALSO: I can use my OLD nick from several years ago to connect to Paltalk OK through the KSA proxy server. But when I try to enter most of the chat rooms it asks me to upgrade to Plus or Xtreme. However my friends in England can log on OK. So it seems Saudi Arabia is on the ban list! That's why I need a workaround.
