Hmmm.... Yeah..... You "Double Click" fast or right click and open... not sure what your typing to do... are you trying to hex edit it? or what cause all you sound was how can you open a *.exe"

hmmm very strange question, do you mean execute the .exe file ?? if so just do what syxx said, double click or right click then open...

If your meaning to edit the .exe file then you first have to work out if the .exe file has used a packer and if it has you need to know what type and how you can unpack it to edit it in a resource hacker or edit it by using a debugger
