Aigh I gonna be posting the new updates for the music bot here

with this update i think I fix a big bug, which was in the editor when you shuffle the songs it didnt lign them correctly but is fix now, I just need ya guys to check it

Shuffle looks fine to me, 160 songs list and I haven't found a flow, thanks

lol but there's no good without bad, so as i test it i find a new one. I request songs, the request window is closed, but if I open it and close it the request list clears lol
I did a rc! couple of times before i found this one, so i don't know if it is related to it or not.

Oh, and rquests re-order the songs play (play continue from the somg that is after the last request.) I guess you can call it a feature, but it's not realy is, is it? lol
So anyway, if I want to disable request I need to have the request window open (or it forget my settings) it's not realy a bug, but would be nice if i could close it. btw that apply to all other windows too.

ah thats a flaw well when i was designing it i separated each box , like greeter, ect... in the next update i will be using tabs to have them all in one form

And don't forget the admins names being truncated, it's a real pain.
It's not fixed in last version though the template was.
Also it's very convenient to have the bot ver. in it's about box, or at least update it in the vers. resource

Another thing i was thinking about regarding the shuffle. It is currently done before adding to the play list, so that means if you have files from different folders you can't mix them together. And it also means you cannot shuffle existing lists. How difficult is it to make the shuffle in the playlist?

One more thing, is there anywhere i can see the sources for the bot at? Though I haven't seen a line of basic code for 20 years I might still be able to read it, maybe see how difficult it is to port to c++.

Oh Almost forgot, I usualy run the bot on my own green account, and it still my text when i type and it post the announcer message or song name. Would it be difficult to save and restore the existing text? (maybe a charrachter or 2 will be lost instead the whole line.)

That's just the way it works...better off getting a basic or older PC and run teh bot on there....all bots I have tried have the same efffect since they use your console to add text to room.

Also, if you plan on using the greeter, I prefer a seperate machine cause I can't stand to see all the join and leave messages.....make an already busy room impossible to keep up with....

So I just have a machine with VNC running on it that I access when I need to. You can't use RDC because it messes with the audio...once you have it set up, use a VNC client for remote access.

Yeps dj specially witht he music bot, it takes enuff resourses by itself with the greeter and anouncer on lol is crazy ehhehe thas why i was bout to remove it from the music bot but decided to leave since its an option

lol @ that's just the way it works, loved it. Thats what we have locohacker here, to fix it. And if all other bots do it too... then I guess this one is gonna be better It shouldn't be that hard to get the text before it clear and put it back there.

lol locohacker you need to get organized. I reported the names of admins get truncated after they're loaded from the file if they start with a number in the other thread, I think The_Nekkid_DJ did too. Try "7up" fot instance.

I Also suggested not to mess with the names and just remove trailing spaces, and if not too complicated to do, make case insensitive match, as ppl sometimes change the original name case (let alone me entering the name with wrong case.)

Crap I just gonna try it to see wha you mean ehhe using the number thing tomorrow, ah thas true I gonna fix the case senitive, but I gonna check cause i think I did it for a reason but I gonna make sure it's okie to do it

Here's another bug (crasher) that I have seen before but did not know how to reproduce it.
The following steps will reproduce it every time.
Open the Music Bot, connect to a room, click load and load a music list (or click cancel, the "Cancel selected" message will pop up, close it,) now click color and then cancel. You will get a runtime error message, and clicking it will close the bot.

Ah what error ya get, man i think I gonna leave the new layout for laters, just fix all bugs for now and just make sure people will be able to close the open windows without loosing the info

Run-time error '32755' Vancel was slelected, the when you click the ok the bot quits.
It's weird because if you do it before you attempt to load a playlist it never happen

Yeah I would say bugs first, it's not that bad that you need to leave the windows open, I just minimize them. I don't know about any other bugs than those I already reported though.

I would like to have a Music Bot installed in my computer, but every time I click on the exe file, I get an error that says the following message :
"Invalid procedure call or argument"

What should I do to solve this problem?
