What happens when you remove any incentive to work? People get lazy and don't work! That is the change the socialists will bring.

I didn't like the other option either, but it would be a slower fall into poverty. McCain is, in practice, a democrat, and as such I did not support him any more then I supported Obama. Every chance McCain got to destroy republicans, he took!

It just amazes me that the people vote themselves high costs of living and then think that 3rd rate socialised healthcare is the answer. You cant afford healthcare due to politically driven costs, and rather then throwing out the bums that drove your cost up, you re elect them and thank them for destroying the American way of life in exchange for the communist way of life. And there are a lot of republicans that are just as much to blame as democrats.

Mister Obama wants to "equalize" things in america by stealing from the so called wealthy to give to the poor. Why then didn't he "Share the wealth" of fund raising with McCain? Why does Obama live in a LARGE house that he couldn't afford (had to get it through illegal schemes) yet his own reletives live in slums/projects/poverty? The answer is that he does not want to spread HIS wealth. And in truth, he does not want to spread anyone elses. He wants to control everyone elses! He knows better then you how to spend your money.

You think outsourcing was bad aready? When they start raiding corperate funds, that will cause large corperations all across America to start looking for homes in other parts of the world. And when the corperations start to leave, the jobs will disapear. Then the politicians will provide more socialist plans/solutions, and the people will thank them and re elect them. The saviours of the American people! Saving them by making them like children and wards of the state. Saving the American people from problems brought on by bad policy that was created and implemented by the very people that are claiming to want to save you!

Wake up America! You will be living in conditions that rival any 3rd world nation! But at least that will solve the imigration issues! So I guess the socialists do have a plan to fix illegal imigration, and I just never knew it!

The socialist democrats do indeed have a plan that will put an end to illegal imigration! Make America worse then the other countries, and the poor of those countries will stop trying to come here! What a great plan! It will take a little time, but it can be extremely effective.

I have been wrong all this time in fighting socialism! Join in with me in welcoming our new found imigration policy and support the solcialist party that was once the democrat party of America.

More government control and intervention only makes lives worse. If you are given something once, it is appreciated and can be good. But if you are made dependent on that gift and must be given that gift again and again, then it is no longer a gift, and the ones giving it to you have become your OWNERS! Slavery is still thriving in the USA, it has just hidden its self. The people have become slaves of the government and the politicians have become slaves to the loony left extremists!

I say vote every encumbent out of office and make politics a service to the people rather then their slave driver! Demand term limits on every political office and stop the cycle of abuse that is purpatrated on the american people every 2 years.

What do you think is going to happen with the more wealthy people in America when a lot of their money is being taken away to give to people who don't take the risks to make money. Most of the wealthy took a lot of risks to get where they are today that could have just as well made them loose everything. What do you think these people are going to do when they start loosing a lot of that wealth? They worked for it, they earned it, and now its going to get taken away. Most of the people who make this money are the doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc. When they see how much money they are loosing, and then look at other countries and see that they can go to them and make the big money again. What do you think they will do? Stick around and loose money, or go somewhere that they can gain more money? Once these people are gone America will simply go to hell.

I've learned from a old German friend of mine that freedom can be lost very quickly. For example, the germans didn't want Hitler to become their leader, it was not at all the plan they had for the country. It was the fact that they began to live in poverty, the people in germany needed someone to swoop in and help them out. Hitler was a great speaker, and united the civilians of Germany by saying the Jews where the cause of their poverty issues and that they where taking all the money (which was semi-true considering they owned a lot of the small businesses). His speaking showed up all over on television and radio throughout the day. Over time the citizens began to believe him. Their hatred for the Jews united the citizens which made Hitlers party grow. After the leader died Hitler was next in command to take over and he did. In one night everyone who protested him was killed and no one was left standing to take the throne back. So i ask you, is this so different from whats going on in America right now? I mean yes, i realize this may sound far fetched, but that's the same thing that the germans would have thought aswell. The American economy collapsed, Obama comes the savior talking to us on how hes going to fix all of our problems. Sounds familiar doesn't it? So the question is.. what happens next?

I lived through 2 years of a political campaign to elect an unqualified black person for president. They did a supperb job of selling the "Hope" & "Change" slogans without giving any spacifics.

Loco, what change is Obama going to bring to this world? From what I have seen, Obama is only in this for himself. He lives in the lap of luxury while his brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles live in poverty both here in the USA and abroad. That looks to me to be the same change Al Sharpton and Jessy Jackson have brought to the black community! The change is only in the status of the one promising to bring that change! (in other words, Obama is better off, but no one else is) The American people on a whole will not be changed, and for most people, they will be worse off in the long run.

Well, he will create newer jobs, and will finally after 8yrs of isolation will actually get help from the world, when it comes to world issues, cause lately be going at it alone

Companies don't hire or lay off based on the tax they pay, they'll hire as long as they profitable based on their needs. They do search for other places to do business where expenses are lower. But at the end is the total profit they make.
Anyhow it's a done deal no point to argue about what will be or will not be untill it will or not be , the people have voted, lets wait and see.

As you state, they employ based on profit! If that profit is taken, what ever the means, (but in this case - taxes) they will seek out ways to make up for that lost profit. The first step in recovering the lost profit is by cutting the cost to produce that profit. This includes employing less! And the second step is charging more!

I agree the people have voted, and they have elected the USA an economy that will be worse then the Carter years of the late 70's.

And it makes no sense to say you are going to make the peoples lives better by giving them a negligable tax break and turn around and drasticly increase corperate taxes. You will drive up both unemployeement and the cost of goods and services. How does this help anyone?

I did not vote for Obama, but his skin color had nothing to do with my vote. I voted against his marxist views & policies. The next 4 years will be very hard for not just America, but for the world.

But on the brite side, we will be making progress on reducing illegal immagration!
