The filtering is new... it used to be, they just would not allow a direct link to it. When you tried to follow a link to locohacker, paltalk would not give you the continue option... just close... so you would have to do a c&p to follow the link to locohacker.

Just a guess, but this could have something to do with the filter!

Um no, this is not new.

When you send it, You would be able to see it. But users in pm/room wouldnt be able 2. And this filtering thing was in paltalk for ages.

I know for a fact just last month I was able to post links to locohacker with one nic... see it in the room with another... and if it was clicked on, it would not allow you to follow it... I have never seen them filter links at the room posting level... so it is new to me I guess.

Yes, I agree with BoRed. It's a fact that you can only see locohacker links on your end and not on other ends. Another thing was that you couldn't type "paltalk-hacks" like that on Paltalk because it wouldn't show. Just like "locohacker." And, as BoRed said, it's been like this for well over a month, so unless they've changed it since then, it's still the same.

Well when i was testing my rss feed program, I was getting feed from locohacker, and I could see it in room from another nic (and I let it run for 3 days streight)... so while I am not saying that they haven't blocked it in the past, I had never seen them block it and in fact i saw them allow it to post to room (so the block at posting leavel is new to me). Now when I tried to follow the link from pal, I was taken to pals page telling me that I was following a link, but I was not given the continue option... just close! So I was unable to follow the link.

So has Pal been blocking certain links from posting for a long time? Most likely! But they must allow posts to drop off the list with time if they don't see alot of activity. And now locohacker has been added back to the list of links that are blocked from posting.
