Paltalk, linux and Gaim-pt

:roll: I would like to try to enter paltalk in linux (kubuntu)... I knew there was that software named Gaim-pt but I can't find it!!! Anyone could help me??

I have Paltalk running on Arch in Wine. It seems a little slow at times. I haven't tried joining a room yet, but IMing fails.

If you're using Gaim, you're a little behind the times... Gaim is now Pidgin. But the Paltalk plugin for Gaim has been outdated for a while anyway.

Well, you could run a virtual machine and install Windows on that... That's all I can think of.

Or, if you're really that desperate, install Windows.

There was a tutorial some where on the net on howto get paltalk running perfectly on wine within linux, So yeah go gooogle for that because gaim-pt is out dated

I did a google on it :) and those that being susesfull on installing it under wine say paltalk stills hangs up under linux when using wine. But hey paltalk I hear is making a version for mac so maybe, they let the linux pluging work again, i dont knwo why they so afraid of linux anyways wha can people do under linux :twisted:
