I Know that making a Room Spammer and Mic Holder and nothing cool to make but its the best way to start out because you learn API and API is need knowledge to make paltalk programs mastering the API and making paltalk programs is the easy part you can make alot of stuff for paltalk if you know the API Coding world however i still dont understand API good myself if i use a API Spy i know what API Declare Functions i need to add but without being able to use a API Spy i cant do much.

API stands for Application Programming Interface, and its a set functions without having to know the source code to those functions, C, C++, Delphi and ofcause VB can have access and use API's. So no its not Noob thing.

You will find that many API's are found SDK kits (Software Development Kits) to make it make it easyer for the programmer to access function with having to implement source to carrie out those functions.

The API's we use to make paltalk programs are microsoft ones, these API already come with windows and windows use these API's to make the whole OS work

for example kernel32.dll,user32.dll,comctl32.dll,shell32.dll even winsck32.dll are all common 32bit API's and we as programmers can use these APIS to our advantage without having to code them our selfs


So if you do decide to use API's in your paltalk programming , It does'nt make you a "NooB", geez if all the programmers that have ever used winsock was called NooB because they used the winsock API thenthat makes every programmer in the world a NooB
