i got unbuntu but the only thing i dont like about it is that its written totaly different from windows and u can even used it none of the program work on it anyways and i can get my video card to install on it so yeh but its cool

OAKLAND, Ya dont mind me askign what your pc configuration, cause I try installing it on an old dell p3 1.ghz shit didn't work :(

u should be able to install it on a dell but it will install slow wat was the error i cant get my video card to install on there i dono why i got a radeon x1300 the software is not compatible wit it

I got dsl :), I jsut some stupid error bout drive hd0 shit lol I gave up after reading and doing eveything they say, I ask cause I was wondering if Ubunto needed a more modern pc :)

It uses gnome which takes up a bit of ram. Not quite as much as KDE, but an adequate amount.

well u gotta have a good graphix card thats for sure im using radeon x1300 it supports dual monitors so i have two it awsome card for low price it costs about 160 and u gotta have good ram like ghost said because it uses alot and im using 3 h/ds so i installed it onto a fresh one im runnin xp,ubuntu and next ama install gay vista or something

Linux can support dual monitors too... There's a tool called Xinerama.

ii know that but i cannot install my card on ubuntu it dosent read the cd because its an exe
