Hey I just tested out Ubuntu for the first time. It's the first time I ever used any linux system. I booted it from da cd to try it out. And im on ubuntu rite now making this post. kewl. :D

after i showed u how to boot from a cd..

but go to system, backround effects, enable that andf check the first option..

also have a look in add/remove programs
you dont know who i am, and i would rather keep it that way.

Damn it i can make it work son mines, can ya install ubuntu on an old Pentium 3 pc?

i didnt even install it....i was just running it from the cd to try it out.....but yea....pentium 3 should handle it....im thinking of putting it on my old pentium 3 ....its already got windows me on it...that stuff stinks big time so i think ill overwrite it with ubuntu....

ME is the worse windows ever man get rid of it lol, I putting a old laptop back together so i can install ubuntu :) I wanna see if i can install paltalk somehow on a linux base system :)

No. We've talked about this you douche fayce. Paltalk doesn't go on linux unless you're running WINE or you use a VM with a Windows OS on it.

lol.....would be nice if u can make a version of paltalk without the spyware n stuff n one that works wid linux....

maybe hjave it done urself? a lot of these coiders can code a client to go into the paltalk servers..

the old gaim client did that, unfortunatly it does not work..

but I was thinking is using wine, I dont think i got the skill yet to make it work for linux without wine :) the main reason I wanna do it is to make a simple to do tutorial cause all i found dont go step by step really there is always missing something :)

It's gonna be a little harder since there isn't an open source protocol for Paltalk like there was Oscar for AIM.

i got unbuntu but the only thing i dont like about it is that its written totaly different from windows and u can even used it none of the program work on it anyways and i can get my video card to install on it so yeh but its cool
