Working on bans...

Postby Guest » Mon Aug 29, 2005 9:10 pm

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! i been working on there bans so far 2 of there bans i were exposed on my forum even thou 2 is not alot its a start on a road of helping people... Being a one person team is not easy and takes time since it seems like everyone else is like computer illiterate. anyway take the time and learn and you will see and dont believe everything that someone says on paltalk highly shouldn't listen to a paltalk admin thats red because they are hired to lie. just ask them if paltalks client is spyware or not. watch them lie to your face..

Just remember if a program is able to return information about the users computer its spyware paltalk is spyware because if they weren't they wouldn't know what to ban on your computer.... exsample: harddrive serial, MAC Address, IP ( Internet Protocol ) Address ect...

Good work syxx, the only reason i dont go into antibans programs is because of a 3 reasons, first reason is i never get banned, second reason is that you are the "anitban man" so to speak, and third reason is really I couldnt be fuked installing so many third party apps to monitor my registry ect.... ohh and belive me its not because i can'nt work out these bans because i belive i would have no trouble finding out what happens when paltalk does stuff just by using Softice or something equal, even just simple registry monitor can tell you a lot of stuff thats going on.

Anyway your the man for the job and if you do need some extra help on something just give me a yell and i will try and help out :O)

Paltalk User ID

Postby 4xzibit » Wed Oct 19, 2005 12:10 pm

Paltalk knows who you are from a unique UID (User ID) which is contained in the registry.

In WinXP it is located at this key, or something similiar.

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1078081533-1965331169-682003330-1003\Software\Paltalk

Thats why chaning your IP number or User Name doesnt change you BAN or BOUNCE status. If you change this number you cant log in to Paltalk cuz during login Paltalk is looking at your UID and Password. If you uninstall Paltalk you still have the same UID because Paltalk does not remove the information in the registry. To start fresh you have to manually delete your information out of the registry. Depending on your O/S as to how many times , or number of entries in the registry. WinXP has 2 or 3 all the way down to Win98 with only 1. I hope this helped and if this is a hint on the Ban program...The BAN could be removed back around version 5 by changing your UID in the regisrty and also you had to change the windows installation KEY. Then you could get past the BAN,. That way of anti-banning went away a few versions ago, but mabe it helps you..
