Summary
My husband and I had just slipped beneath the sheets, the quiet rhythm of the evening settling over us, when the bedroom door was kicked open.
My brother, Travis, stumbled into the room. Wrapped around his waist was a girl who couldn't have been older than twenty, plastered in crude stick-and-poke tattoos and reeking of stale tobacco and cheap vanilla mist.
"Jesus, Ted," Travis drawled, leaning against our doorframe with a smirk. "All these years and you and my sister are still doing the same missionary routine? Don't you ever get bored?"
