Summary
The Thanksgiving weekend getaway turned into a nightmare when our charter bus violently rolled over. Pure instinct took over. I threw my body over my sister, smashed the shattered window, and dragged us both out of the wreckage.
I crouched by the dirt road, pressing a hand to my heavily bleeding forehead, holding my sister’s hand as we waited for the paramedics.
That was when Nathan finally arrived with our son.
