A Heart Already Broken

Summary

Ethan Carter got drunk one night and got a girl pregnant.

By the time I found out, she was already six months along.

He said we could keep the baby and go back to the way things were.

I shook my head and asked him one question, refusing to let it go:

"Ethan, between me and this child, who do you choose?"

That day, he was silent for a long time. He couldn't give me an answer.

But after I disappeared, he regretted it.
