After My Alpha Mate Marked Someone Else, I Left

Summary

My Alpha mate slept with his childhood sweetheart to suppress her wolfsbane poisoning using his Alpha power.

At dawn he knelt in front of me, holding a woman whose clothes were half off and whose body was covered in bruises.

"Lilia was poisoned saving me. As the Alpha of this pack, I couldn't stand there and watch her die in agony!"

Certain it would move me, he cut himself seven times with a silver dagger to atone.

But the wolfsbane was still in Lilia's blood, and every time it flared, my Alpha husband went to save her.

Afterward, he would cut himself once more.
