Summary
After high school, my brother, John Garrett, and my childhood friend, Ivan Jeffson, take me on a trip. But we end up stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash.
In our third year on the island, I accidentally discover surveillance cameras hidden in the trees.
Startled, I lose my footing and tumble down the cliff, falling into a large pool at a luxury villa.
Inside the villa, a special effects artist is applying fake bruises to John's face.
Helen Burch, another girl who had been on the same flight and stranded on the island with us, is lying in my parents' arms.
