Summary
Everyone in our social circle knew that Pierce Wardell, sole heir to the Wardell shipping dynasty, suffered from severe prosopagnosia.
In our five years together, even a subtle change in my haircut or the silhouette of my coat was enough to make me invisible to him. He lived in a world of smooth, featureless mannequins, anchoring himself to voices, gaits, and the tiny details he forced himself to memorize.
Until our wedding rehearsal.
To loosen up the room, the event coordinator introduced an impromptu game: a blindfolded groom searching for his bride among the bridal party.
