Summary
I was bitten by a zombie.
The zombie stared at the blue blood oozing from my wound, frozen in place.
"What are you looking at? I'm one of you," I said calmly, pushing him away. I ran my other hand over the wound, and the torn flesh healed instantly.
The zombie was stunned.
"Stop staring. Look at you, all skin and bones... legs barely working. Go find something to eat," I said with concern, patting him on the shoulder before walking away.
