Summary
It was our post-graduation trip, right after the college entrance exams, when Isla proposed a game.
"Let's all look at these cards," she said, her voice bright with a forced kind of innocence. "If we see the same number, we share a room."
She slid a few color-deficiency testing plates across the table.
She handed them out to the others, leaving just one, which she held out in front of Noah and me.
"What numbers do you two see?"
I jumped in before he could answer. "Sixty-six."
