During our team dinner, my boyfriend went out of his way to run down the street and grab two specialized iced teas.
He handed one to my best friend across the table, and set the other in front of me.
Sadie smiled warmly, offering a quick thank-you. "You’re always so thoughtful, Zachary. You remembered my stomach can't handle ice."
I looked down at the mango-coconut smoothie sitting in front of me. Without a word, I pushed it away.
"What’s wrong?" Zachary asked, barely looking up from his phone.
"I have a severe mango allergy, Zachary. Did you forget? Again?"
