Summary
The night before my daughter and I were supposed to leave on a road trip, my sister-in-law suddenly showed up with my nephew.
"Maya, Dylan heard you and Chloe are going on a road trip, and he really wants to go. Just take Dylan with you. It’ll be great, Chloe will have a playmate!"
"I'm really sorry, Sarah, but I just don't have the energy to manage two kids by myself on a road trip."
I honestly thought that after I explicitly said no, the issue was settled.
