Summary
For the ten days I was confined to a hospital bed, Harry never showed up. Not once.
Yet, on the very morning I was discharged, I walked into the main lobby only to find my notoriously calm, fiercely stoic husband—Dr. Harry Cole, the hospital’s golden boy—in a fistfight with his first love’s husband.
The man’s voice echoed off the sterile walls, raw and unhinged:
"Dr. Harry Cole! The great trauma surgeon! He’s sleeping with my wife!"
"They were in a hotel room together last night!"
