Summary
For thirty years, I devoted my life to Gordon—caring for his parents, raising our son.
After dropping my grandson at preschool, I finally thought I could rest. Instead, I was diagnosed with severe kidney disease.
Gordon, a renowned nephrologist, insisted on operating himself.
As anesthesia faded, I overheard him and Leo:
"Dad, lying to Mom? Taking her kidney for Aunt Rose?"
"She’ll never suspect," Gordon said coldly. "I only married her to fund Rose’s education."
Then Leo’s knife-twist:
"Calling my real mother ‘Aunt’ my whole life? This kidney’s her payment for raising me."
