Summary
Just because I was pregnant, his widowed sister-in-law threatened to kill herself.
To appease her, my husband insisted I have an abortion, just to put her mind at ease.
“Eleanor is just so lonely since my brother died,” he told me. “I’m just taking care of her for him, giving her a child. Don’t overthink it.”
When I refused, he drugged me and took me to the clinic himself.
When I woke up, my eyes were burning with tears. “Samuel, just because she was unhappy, you’ve made me lose three children!”
He was impatient.
“It’s just a baby. We can have another one later.”
