Summary

In the three years since my wife, Ariel Meyers, and I are married, I've been beaten up 38 times by her deranged ex-husband, Isaac Thornton.

The last time, he doused me from head to toe in vinegar, thinking it was sulfuric acid.

I want to call the police, but Ariel stops me and says, "He's just having an episode. He thinks that he and I haven't divorced yet.

"It's not like it's real sulfuric acid anyway, Matt. Just let it go. A shower will fix everything.
