Summary
After three years of marriage, I finally got pregnant. I called to tell him.
"Hey, come home early tonight. I have some amazing news."
Silence on the other end for a second.
"I can't make it tonight, Iris. Amber really wants some mango crepe cake, so I'm taking her to line up for it. After that, we're going hiking to catch the sunrise."
"When I wanted to watch the sunrise, you told me it was a waste of time."
"Why do you always have to ruin the mood? She's all by herself. I can't just leave her alone, can I?"
