Summary
Ever since I was a little girl, I could see the threads of connection stretching between people.
When I first walked into my elementary school classroom, the thread binding me to my desk mate was a vibrant, brilliant red. By graduation day, it had faded to a lifeless, dusty gray, snapping silently into nothingness.
