I'm Done Chasing After You

Summary

When the bullet train tickets to Kellmore went on sale, Elaine Hartwell did what she always did and booked two, one for herself and one for Bradley Collier.

She turned to me once the order went through. "Leo, did you get your ticket yet?"

I froze for a moment.

On the screen, her seat and Bradley's were right next to each other. By the time I checked, the only seats left on that train were in the next carriage.

I stared at the seat number and almost laughed, as something inside me clicked.
