Master’s Maserati

Summary

My husband Jack’s auto repair shop hired an apprentice.

The kid, Leo, was hardworking and a smooth talker, and Jack took a real shine to him. He poured everything he had into training the boy, hoping he’d become his right-hand man.

Then, out of the blue, the kid quit. He turned around and opened his own shop right next door to ours, siphoning off all our business.

Just as we were about to go under, our luck took a sudden, dramatic turn.
