Summary
The day my brother, Aaron Payne, is abducted by human traffickers, an older woman in our town tells me that if I can come up with 80,000 dollars, I can get him back.
Desperate to save him, I return to the home I haven't set foot in for two years and beg my wealthy parents for the money.
But they fly into a rage.
"We sent you two to the countryside to toughen you up, not to give you an excuse to scam us for money!"
"Human traffickers? You really expect us to believe someone could kidnap a child and then just give him back? Stop making up stories."
