Summary
I ended up in the hospital after a car accident. A text message from my boyfriend, Alex, popped up on my phone by mistake.
[My little princess, are you satisfied with your uncle's photography skills?]
Attached was a photo of a young girl in a princess dress, surrounded by 999 dazzling red roses.
Before I could get a closer look, the message was retracted.
[Sorry, Stella. Sent that to the wrong person.]
I stared at the screen. The messages I’d sent him two hours ago, frantically telling him about the accident, were still sitting there, unanswered.
