Summary
In my previous life, my granddaughter was stabbed twenty-five times simply because she tried to comfort her heartbroken best friend at a downtown lounge.
Her internal organs were shredded. She clung to life in the ICU for a grueling month, only to survive with a permanent colostomy bag, her young body mutilated before her life had even truly begun.
When my son and daughter-in-law confronted the girl in agonizing grief, demanding answers, her so-called best friend merely rolled her eyes.
