No Room In Your Planner

Summary
My boyfriend of seven years was a man ruled by schedules and an uncompromising sense of order.
If we had a date at three o’clock, leaving the house even a minute early was out of the question. If I wanted to catch a midnight showing of a movie, he would shut the idea down instantly. "That’s sleep time," he would say, flatly. His planner was a dense, meticulously filled grid of daily tasks, mapped out to the exact minute.
Sometimes, I found his rigidity stifling. But outside of his calendars, he was completely devoted to me.
