Summary
I was born with red-green color deficiency. When my mother heard it could allegedly be "cured" through rigorous visual conditioning, she didn't book an appointment with a specialist. Instead, she launched a social media account: "Rehabilitating My Color-Blind Daughter."
Practically overnight, our house became a lab experiment. The drinking glasses, the bath towels, even our toothbrushes were replaced with sets in nearly identical, subtly shifted hues. I had to navigate our home like a minesweeper, observing every tiny variation with excruciating care.
