Out of His Focus

Summary

Our company was rolling out updated employee badges, and I asked Elton to take a quick headshot for me.

He stayed sunk into the sofa cushions, eyes glued to his phone screen as his fingers mashed buttons in a game, not even bothering to look up.

"Your phone has a front camera, doesn't it? You can't even take a simple photo of yourself?"

He let out an irritated sigh. "Just because we're dating doesn't mean you need to depend on me for every little thing."

The next morning, a heavy package from a specialty printing press was delivered to my desk by mistake.
