Summary
The night before our daughter’s life-saving heart surgery, my wife demanded I take the blame for a fatal hit-and-run committed by her clinical assistant, Wesley.
When I flatly refused, she walked out and didn't come home.
The next morning, with only an hour left before Daisy’s operation, two detectives marched into the private surgical center. They claimed I had driven drunk and killed a pedestrian the night before.
I frantically tried to explain that there had been a mistake.
