The Canary's Revenge

Summary

I used to be a poor, proud girl who only wanted Julian Thorne's love.

But after he blacklisted me from the industry, I learned my lesson. I became obedient, accepting the resources he threw my way.

I just didn't love him anymore.

Later, he got into a car accident and was hospitalized. I was at Fashion Week in Paris, and when I returned, I went straight to set to film.

When he recovered and was discharged, he pinned me against the doorframe, eyes red. "I was in a car accident..."

I looked at him, puzzled, and said nothing.
