Summary
On New Year's Eve, I traveled three thousand miles back from a remote outpost, only to hear a girl at the station shouting my boyfriend's name into her phone.
"Jax, I'm off the train! Where are you?"
A female voice came from behind, carrying the specific coquettishness of someone in love.
