The Donna Who Betrayed Me

Summary

I came home after a meeting with the Vitale Family's capos and carried Elena from the front door all the way into the living room.

Her legs were wrapped around my waist as she leaned in to kiss me. Just as I was about to kiss her back, I spotted a cream pastry on the table.

Elena and I were both allergic to cream.

In seven years of marriage, nothing made with cream had ever entered this estate.

“Who bought this?”

Elena paused for a moment, then tightened her arms around my neck.

“Sophia brought it last night and forgot to take it with her.”
