Summary
Year-end bonus arrived, I bought a surprise gift for my boyfriend and mailed it to his company.
FedEx showed delivered.
But he never came to ask me.
A day later, he finally sent a voice message:
"...Baby, did you buy me a gift?"
He asked with extreme hesitation.
I suddenly felt like testing him.
Half-jokingly asked back: "No, did someone buy you a gift?"
He laughed it off:
"Maybe someone else sent it, I'll go ask other friends..."
My heart went cold.
...Ask others?
Who else would send him couple rings?
