My boyfriend, Liam, went downstairs to get it but came back empty-handed. He said the delivery guy slipped, and the bag was a total loss.

I let out a cold laugh, picked up my phone, and dialed 9-1-1.

“Hello, 9-1-1? I’d like to report a theft. I believe my food delivery was stolen…”
