Summary
To teach our daughter gratitude, my husband and I often took her to volunteer at an orphanage whenever we had time.
There was a child born with a disability, unable to walk.
My daughter pitied her misfortune and asked us to buy her many new clothes.
Unexpectedly, after putting on the clothes, she held my hand tightly, refusing to let go.
"Auntie, I want to be your daughter too... Can you adopt me? I will be very well-behaved."
Unable to resist the persuasion of my husband and daughter, I completed the adoption procedures.
