During our dinners, Logan would always snap the sharp wooden tips off the skewers and place them right next to Cassie’s hand.
He made sure the broken, blunt ends faced outward so she could grab them easily without looking.
I sat across from them, watching in silence as Logan anticipated her every need.
"Be careful," he murmured, his eyes fixed on her. "Don't poke your lip like you did last time."
