Summary
Julian Thorne, a man who never cared about holidays, unexpectedly ordered me a milk tea on the first day of autumn.
But he sent it to my old workplace.
My former colleague called me:
"Your husband is quite the romantic, sending reminders to us ex-colleagues even on minor holidays."
"But, how come the famous Lawyer Thorne only got you a one-dollar bubble tea?"
I heard a hint of mockery in her teasing tone.
Hanging up the phone, I looked at his young assistant's Instagram post.
"Thanks to the boss for transferring 520,000 dollars to me, telling me to buy out the whole milk tea shop."
