Summary
On the first day of summer break, my parents found me another job.
"A cashier at the grocery store. The pay is decent, and it’s great for building your resume."
From my freshman year of college all the way to my senior year, they had repeated this exact phrase.
My freshman year, they sent me to work at a packing plant, while they took my younger sister on a road trip to Washington D.C. to see the monuments.
My sophomore year, they sent me to work at a convenience store, and then bought my sister a car and paid for her driving lessons.
