The Memory Pill

Summary

Caleb Vance had always been the devoted type.

But on the day his "first love" was diagnosed with cancer, he handed me a pill that induces amnesia.

"Ava, Summer is dying. Give me three days. I want to fulfill her dream of a wedding."

"I won't hurt you. This pill causes temporary memory loss. Three days later, after the ceremony, you'll take the antidote, fall in love with me all over again, and we'll remarry."

Seeing the determination in his eyes, I took the pill and swallowed it without hesitation.

What Caleb didn't know was that I developed the pill myself.
