The Star That Finally Faded

Summary

In the third month of my cold war with my movie star boyfriend, Julian Cole, we were invited to a variety show that required us to call the person we loved most.

Out of spite, he called his assistant, Lily, sending the internet into a frenzy of shipping them.

I, on the other hand, dialed an unknown number, calling my mom in another world, which led to mass ridicule online.

Julian sneered.

"You're an orphan, where did you get a mom? Hiring someone to pretend just to save face, you really have no bottom line!"

I didn't speak. Amidst his mocking expression, I rushed to the window and jumped.
