Summary
When Alistair Gummer once again postponed our wedding, I decided to go back to my hometown.
Before leaving, we had a breakup fling. In the throes of passion, his voice grew hoarse. “You don’t need to force me with a breakup. I told you, when the time is right, I’ll marry you.”
Later, I boarded the little mini-van back to my village and completely disappeared. He, however, went mad searching for me. My phone was bombarded with texts.
“Don’t let me find you, or I’ll kill you.”
“Send me your location. Let’s talk calmly.”
“Baby, I’m sorry, it was my fault. Please don’t leave me…”
